What you record
Tap Pass or Not applicable on each of the 57 elements, listed under the five criteria, or open an element to record a fail, an exemption or an abeyance with its reason. Add the measurement where one decides the result, the evidence you saw and up to 10 photos you can mark up. The result for each criterion and for the home is worked out for you.
For council and housing association surveyors assessing one home at a time against the Scottish Housing Quality Standard. The elements carry the guidance’s own numbers, and the results for each criterion and for the home are worked out from the element results, not chosen by hand.
Exemptions and abeyances record the reason, who decided for the landlord and when. Changes to results are kept as a history, and you review and sign off the assessment when you make the report.
What the report contains
- A cover with your logo and colours
- Contents and the result for the home and each criterion
- A schedule of all 57 elements
- Exemptions and abeyances, with who decided them and when
- A history of changes to results
- A sign-off, with a line to sign by hand
