What you record
Enter the warrant reference and the stages on the notification plan once. At each stage, add an item for each thing to be shown, with where it is, where the photographs were taken from, any measurement shown and up to 10 photographs you can mark up. Make a report of one stage or several, and items keep the numbers they have in the full record.
For builders, site managers, clerks of works, agents and self-builders working to a building warrant in Scotland, where the verifier has agreed to take evidence in place of a visit. Each item is tied to its stage and records where the photographs were taken from, with any measurement they show.
The report states that it was made by or for the person doing the work, not by the verifier, and that it doesn’t judge the work. You can send one stage at a time, and the item numbers still match the full record.
What the report contains
- A cover with your logo and colours
- Contents, and a statement of what the record is and isn't
- The warrant, the people and the notification plan
- Each item with its photographs, numbered and dated
- A summary of items
- Your name and signature as the person who prepared the record
