This article covers what SiteVerity does, signing in, setting up your organisation, your free projects and where to find things in the app.
What SiteVerity does
SiteVerity is an iPhone and iPad app for property inspections in the UK. You choose a template for the job, record what you find with photos, markup and floor plans, then make a PDF report on your device with your organisation’s logo and colours. Once you’ve signed in on a device, you can record inspections and make reports without signal.
Signing in or creating an account
You need a connection the first time you sign in on a device.
- Open SiteVerity and choose Sign in or Create account.
- Enter your email and password. If you’re creating an account, add your Full name too.
- Tap Sign in to workspace, or Create account if you’re new.
You can also use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. If you’ve forgotten your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.
Confirming your email address
If you create an account with your email and a password, SiteVerity shows Verify your email and sends you a link. Nothing can be saved to your account until you’ve opened it.
- Open the link in the email.
- Come back to SiteVerity and tap I’ve verified my email. If you’ve come straight back from Mail, it may already have checked for you.
If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder and tap Resend email. You can also choose Use a different account, or Delete this account if you made it by mistake.
Setting up your organisation
After “Preparing your account…”, SiteVerity shows Set up your organisation. You only see this screen once.
- Enter your name, then your organisation’s name, legal name, email, phone and website.
- In Templates for, choose your region, then add the organisation’s address.
- Tap Continue.
Templates for sets the region the template list starts at when you start a project. You can still choose any template.
Of the organisation’s details, only its name prints on reports. The address and contact details don’t. The organisation’s owner can change these details later in Settings.
Your free projects
Every new organisation gets 2 free projects with every feature. You don’t need a card, and there’s no time limit.
- They’re the first 2 projects your organisation ever creates. Deleting one doesn’t give it back.
- Reports from free projects carry a small “Generated by SiteVerity” footer.
- Without a plan, the project list shows how many you’ve used, for example “1 of 2 free projects used”.
To create more projects, see Subscriptions and restoring purchases.
Finding your way around
The project list is the app’s main screen. Its title is your organisation’s name, with your logo beside it once you’ve added one.
- The search box finds projects by address, client or title.
- The sort menu orders them by Recently updated, Inspection date or Address.
- + starts a new project.
- The person icon opens Settings.
- Each project shows its photo, title, address, template, inspection date and upload state.
- Swipe a project to Archive it. Archived projects, at the bottom, opens the archived ones; swipe one there to Unarchive it.
In Settings you’ll find:
- Organisation: Organisation profile, Report branding, Report wording and Templates (owner only).
- Subscription: See Professional and Manage subscriptions.
- Help and support: Help and Contact support.
- Data and privacy: Send crash reports, Get a copy of my data and Delete account.
- App: Appearance (System, Light or Dark) and the app version.
- Legal: the terms and privacy policy.
- Sign out.
